Offtopic Braggery Inside
My sons first touchdown.
This kid has worked so hard to get to where he is.
He's 10 years old 4'4" and weighs 123 lbs. They call him Tank. This is his third year playing football. He missed weight to play on the junior team (120 lbs), but is under weight to run the ball for the senior team (125 lbs.). The senior team is made up of kids that are 11-12 years old. He's gone out there everyday at practice and proven himself as a lineman against larger more experienced kids. Every week he's getting more game time. First game was 2 plays, second game was a whole quarter, and yesterday he played 3 full quarters. They even put him in as a secret weapon at running back. 5 carries for 30 yards and a touchdown.
Thank you, braggery over.
Have an oppo happy Miata for reading.

I'm not a parent yet and I'm not a football fan, but I can tell this is special. Congrats!

Thanks.
I really like using it as a tool to teach about hard work and the rewards that come along with it. Too many children are being raised with an entitlement complex these days. If he wants it he has to work for it.
